Sales Coordinator/ Analyst

Based in Shrewsbury

Temp to Perm

Salary: £18,800.00-£22,000.00 per year

Your responsibilities will include:

Sales & Order Processing

  • Processing orders and responding to enquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner

  • Keep customers informed and up to date as to the status of their order, offering alternatives to out-of-stock items.

  • Confidently up and cross selling

  • Monitor and respond to online reviews and service feedback

  • Credit control

  • Completion of new product line forms and PIFs for customers as required

  • Supplying and managing assets for customers (sending images, sizes, availability)

  • Managing own inbox and directing assigned accounts emails away from commercial inbox

  • Manage C & D Trade accounts with designated sales manager

  • Support with prospecting new customer leads

  • Customer database system updates and analysis - CRM system updates

Analysis & Reporting

  • Create weekly sales analysis reports for the management team and Directors

  • Run weekly stock reports & look up live stocks for customer/sales team queries

  • Monitor national accounts stock forecast against purchase orders

  • Monthly sales performance analysis and creating reports

  • Customer performance analysis - sales, ranging, turnover, campaigns etc

  • Monitoring and analysis of monthly product sales forecasting with Head of UK Sales

  • Desk research for new projects, opportunities, competitors and market analysis

  • Providing weekly reports of over stock and distributing to assigned account manager

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Successful track record in a similar FMCG sales environment

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships both internal and external

  • Have excellent analysis and presentation skills

  • Be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and results-oriented

  • Ability to analyse and present applicable performance metrics

  • Impeccable attention to detail

  • Marketing experience - brochures, websites, newsletters, social media, competitor analysis

  • Fully competent with SAP and other ERP systems

  • Must be confident and competent using Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and have advanced excel skills for reporting sales & customer data

  • Data analysis and presentation skills

  • Flexible approach to work and working hours

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, demanding sales environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Degree educated or hold a relevant Professional Diploma

  • Experience of SAP is preferred
