An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well established Consulting business based in Lytham Saint Annes.

Offer Summary

Salary: £19,500 (OTE 25-30k)

Working hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm

Holidays: 27 days + bank holidays

Benefits: Pension, Life & Cash plan or Medical Insurance. Other optional benefits are coming in the new year and they may include the electric car option, etc.

Progression: Career path to Consultant role offered for right candidates within 1-2 years, depending on previous job experience and also level of success.

Job Purpose

Produces revenue through sales to new and existing clients of moderate complexity. Primarily focused on providing financial advice to existing clients, this role involves offering risk, superannuation, and investment guidance/intelligence.

Your Role

  • Accountable for maximise retention and growth of client base, role incumbent(s) will liaise with brokers to obtain referrals and consult with clients according to their needs, retaining them as clients.

  • Associated responsibilities include; preparation of statements of advice-from fact find to presentation, managing databases/files to ensure compliance with local standards, planning and delivering client marketing activities, and coaching Client Service staff on generation of leads.

  • Incumbents may provide direction and training to more junior staff.

  • Experienced sole contributor.

  • Has working knowledge and experience in own discipline.

  • Will support on key projects and may lead smaller projects.

  • Works with a large degree of autonomy under the instruction of more senior staff.

Your Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Solid previous experience in a similar role

  • Financial Planning degree preferable

  • Strong negotiation/interpersonal skills for ensuring productive relationships.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Eligible to work in the UK
