A small finance team is looking for a Sales Ledger Assistant to join their friendly office based in Exeter.



Key responsibilities will include;



  • Updating customer ledgers and allocation of all payment forms

  • Liaising with other department to ensure smooth running of finance team and overall business

  • Assisting other members of the finance team to help cover key areas during busy periods or to cover absence

  • Raising adhoc company invoices

  • General adhoc administration



Experience within a similar ledger role is desirable but not essential as what is key to the client is that the successful candidate has good administration skills, a keen eye for detail and excellent communications skills - and would suit someone who is looking to take the next step from an admin role into the world of accounts, or possibly someone who is studying AAT and would like to gain some practical experience.
