My client has been established for 40 years and are based in Wellington, Somerset. They are a highly successful small/medium Family business producing digital self-adhesive labels, mainly to the food/drink/pharmaceuticals industries.



The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, highly motivated and able to work under pressure within a busy sales office. Dealing with customers over the telephone is integral to the position and previous experience in a customer facing environment is preferred.



Your duties will include;




  • Responsible for taking incoming calls and providing first contact support to the team. Must have confident, professional, friendly manner and able to work efficiently to direct calls to the sales/graphics/account teams, where appropriate. Central to the role will be the ability to provide support to the team by assisting with customer queries, taking orders and directing calls efficiently.




  • Responsible for the raising of sales invoices from job tickets within a label management information system. Training will be provided. This represents a large part of the role. Must be computer literate and familiarity with windows 10 would be preferable. Attention to detail is a pre-requisite, as must be able to process detailed information from the job ticket/purchase order etc. Will be responsible for e-mailing invoices to customers and filing paperwork.




  • Accounts data inputting within Sage accounts programme for purchase/sales ledger, would be an advantage to provide cover for holidays/sickness.




  • Responsible for raising pro-forma invoices to new customers and managing/taking payments via card machine.




  • Responsible for customers arriving on site to collect labels or for appointments with the team/management.




  • Responsible for archiving of job tickets/invoices.




  • Responsible for the ordering of all stationery.



The ideal candidate will be available to start prior to Christmas.
