£19,000- £21,000


Working as part of the sales team, from initial enquiry through to dispatch and final payment of invoice. Producing quotations, follow up, processing sales orders and ensuring excellent customer service.

Pro-active approach to investigating further business opportunities with both existing and new customers.


  • Promote a proactive customer first approach to maintain excellent Customer Service.

  • Deal with customer enquiries quickly and efficiently, producing quotations and sales orders.

  • Follow up of quotations and reporting reasons for any lost orders.

  • Develop existing and potential new accounts.

  • Assist in answering phone calls, trade counter enquiries and greeting visitors.

  • Assist other departments / branches as and when required.

  • Enter Sales and Service orders / quotations in line with Company policies and procedures.

  • Ensure accuracy of data input to produce paperwork and certification.

  • Ensure that all operational processes follow our ISO documented system and corporate guidelines.

  • Monitor customer requirements and communicate to customer any delays on delivery date.

  • Inform management of any issues that could have a positive or negative effect on profitability.

  • Assist QA Manager to develop documented company processes and procedures.

  • Ensure accuracy of customer data on Sage CRM systems, checking contact details are up to date.

  • Assist department in reducing slow moving stock.

  • Ensure customers are paying within agreed terms.


  • Customer focused and excellent telephone manner

  • Demonstrate the ability to multi task and show initiative and commitment.

  • Excellent time-management skills whilst demonstrating a flexible approach and a 'can do' attitude

  • Sound organisational skills to achieve superior performance.

  • Able to work accurately demonstrating attention to detail.

  • Proficient in the use of Sage and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
