An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Sales Support Administrator to join a well-established, successful family run business based in North Sheffield.

Liaising with and building rapport with customers over the telephone is a key part of this role so the successful candidate will be a confident communicator who enjoys delivering an efficient, effective and exceptional customer experience.


Key duties and experience will include:



  • Answering the telephone and responding to emails, dealing with a wide range of customers

  • Understanding customer requirements, providing product advice and information where necessary

  • Compiling and sending quotations to customers

  • Dealing efficiently with a variety of customer queries which include pricing queries and delivery cost queries

  • Checking stock levels

  • Liaising with production to understand lead times for orders

  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to follow up on leads from the website of potential new customers

  • Follow up on sent quotations which have not yet converted to orders

  • Utilising a variety of IT Software including bespoke systems and the MS Office Suite (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook)

  • General administration duties (filing, scanning, updating databases)

This is a full time, permanent position working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday
