The role can be based remotely working from home, however will be required to attend the office on occasions for meetings. Office locations are Penrith, Manchester & Wolverhampton. Therefore the suitable candidate can be based in either of these locations.

The role is working full time, 8.30am -17.00pm Monday-Friday.

Due to a forthcoming maternity leave, we are offering a temporary position for a Finance Business Process Owner to drive the next phase of our transition and support the finance team to accurately report our numbers to key stakeholders on schedule.

You will have the opportunity to work closely alongside Group functions such as Tax, Treasury and Group Finance to co-ordinate projects and improvement initiatives.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Design, resolution and review of issues, risks and business impacts for the owned processes.

  • Act as an interface between the business and the technical IT specialists, translating the business requirements.

  • Proactively and on on-going basis identify internal and external best practices that will enable improvement of the standard end-to-end process.

  • Understand how the business operates, business changes and align business requirements

To succeed in this role, you have an educational background in finance, economics or another relevant field as well as following experience and skills:

  • Around 5 years of Business Process experience, ideally working as a Controller in an International Company

  • You will need great communication skills to manage stakeholders at all levels

  • Previous SAP FI Implementation experience would be a distinct advantage

  • In order to act as an intermediate between Finance and IT, SAP Landscape knowledge and Finance background is important

You will receive an onboarding program with an introduction to the company, the teams and the tools that we are using, so the transition into your new role will be smooth.

The employer pays a 10% end of term bonus.
