Scenes of Crime Administrator


A unique opportunity has arisen for a competent and capable administrator to join a busy team, based in either Newton Abbot or Devonport this role would suit someone who has some previous police force experience and knowledge of force systems.


This post could be based in either Newton Abbot or Devonport, and is temporary until the end of December 2021.



The role will include:



  • Using MOPI , whole of force ( access to FPTS, Storm, Crime system and Socrates.)

  • Property weeding, including digital, whole of force , access to systems as above.

  • ISO preparation

  • Vehicle checks / Stock rotation

  • Exhibit maintenance. Handling biological exhibits

  • Mobile phone and exhibit continuity and entry on system

  • Duty and Roster reviews

  • Office administration as required



Applicants should have computer knowledge, inc Word and Excel, Force computer systems knowledge would be highly desirable. This role will involve interacting with the public and officers and therefore applicants should have excellent interpersonal skills.


The ability to drive force vehicles and to work in multiple locations as required is key. As is the ability to work moving stock and property.
