Are you a strategic thinking, organised professional with experience in delivering exceptional customer service? On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for a Scheduler to work for a friendly company based in Erdington, Birmingham.

This role will include:



  • Being the first point of contact for all warranty/service matters. Via telephone, e-mail and fax

  • Dealing with distributors, engineers, 3rdparty subcontractors and end users when necessary

  • Provide basic technical advice to engineers

  • Allocating jobs for service engineers

  • Using the in-house system to raise orders

  • Raise paperwork for the issue of spare parts required to complete warranty jobs and ensure that these arrive to customer or on site as required.

  • Liaising with the spare parts department

  • Organise deliveries to engineers or customers

  • Manage stock availability

  • Discuss with Technical Managers regarding any issues or customer/subcontractor queries raised, to ensure these receive the appropriate level of follow-up

  • Assist with any other general tasks as required.


The ideal candidate must have:



  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to handle large volume calls

  • Previous experience delivering excellent customer service and ability to solve problems effectively

  • Excellent time management to meet deadlines

  • Reliable, flexible and a team player

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Computer knowledge in Opera or SAP would be desirable but not essential
