Sales Administrator/ Service Coordinator

Location: Witham

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30 pm

Salary: £22,000 - £25000

Benefits: Free parking, pension scheme, 28 days holidays incl BH

Adecco Chelmsford is proud to be working in partnership with a highly successful business located in Witham that have been operating for over 25 years. As part of continued growth, we are looking for a proactive and hardworking Sales Administrator/ service Coordinator to join the team and make a positive contribution to this growth.

Duties to include:

  • first point of contact for Telephone Calls from Customers, Suppliers and Engineers

  • Dealing with Customers queries via Telephone and email and ensuring Customers receive prompt and efficient response

  • Preparing Quotations for Customers, and providing these on time, and accurately, and ensuring all Quotations are followed up with the Customer, with a view to converting these to a Visit or Contract

  • Presenting and providing Visit Reports to Customers, and providing information and advice to each Customer about the Engineers Visit

  • Dealing with Suppliers, obtaining parts prices, raising purchase orders, expediting these orders, as well as booking in parts, and collating delivery notes

  • Collating information, detailed and accurate records keeping, and general administration duties

  • Booking in engineer to site and managing their diaries

  • General Admin as well as any ADHOC duties that are required

Candidate specification

  • Be able to work under pressure in a fast paced, high volume office environment dealing with a high number of customer and engineer calls, both efficiently and effectively

  • Be able to prioritise your own and your engineers workload in a commercially effective manner

  • Have a professional approach to your work, with good communication and customer service skills

  • Have a very good attention to detail and be accurate and concise with your communication whether this be verbally, by email or otherwise

  • Be interested in learning about products and services and will want to gain a working knowledge.

  • Have good PC skills and Maths and English GCSE Grade C and above or equivalent

  • Be proactive and demonstrate a flexible 'can do' approach to your work
