Our global manufacturing client seeks immediate assistance as a Scrum Master in their Data Science team.


Job Overview


We are embarking on a major transformation to become more data driven and we are looking for a dedicated certified scrum master with experience to join us for a 6-month fixed term contract. The scrum master will help to instil agile working practices that enable the efficient and satisfactory delivery of our road mapped data driven projects.


Technical Profile



  • Encourage the data science team to practice the core principles of collaboration, prioritisation, team autonomy, accountability, and transparency (Agile, Scrum, Kanban)

  • Ensure all work and progress is visible and bottlenecks in the delivery process are eliminated

  • Improve delivery practice and governance

  • Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency

  • Identify and remove impediments, prevent distractions that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver the product goals

  • Empower the teams to self-organize

  • Foster a culture of continuous Improvement within the team and wider development function

  • Support product owner with product roadmaps, product backlog creation, prioritisation, and assessment

  • Must have experience working as a scrum master within a data science team

  • Has good understanding of the data science lifecycle

  • Work on his/her own initiative, manage time effectively and work accurately and quickly under pressure

  • Have excellent written and spoken communication skills

  • Committed, disciplined self-starter with excellent organisations skills


We are seeking someone who is ready to hit the ground running with agile, embed processes and work with international teams. Anticipating 50-50% from home and from the office, subject to Covid conditions. As for remuneration level, we are looking at £50 to 70k per annum.
