I am currently looking for an experienced 2nd line IT support officer to join our busy client based in Stoke. The role is temporary for three months to assist with current projects. Working hours are 35 per week, working Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm. Salary up to £27,000. Immediate start required. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing helpdesk support for all staff across the company. Duties will include-

  • Logging helpdesk calls and assigning them to members of the team as appropriate

  • Resolve desktop queries for users

  • Resolve support calls on the key business software applications, including logging calls with third parties

  • Recognise and raise calls relating to hardware failures and manage the repair or replacement of equipment

  • Administer and maintain the e-mail management system

  • Investigate and troubleshoot other software within the business

  • Use remote support tools to resolve issues over the phone
