We are recruiting for a prestigious London University. They are looking for a temporary Senior Administrator. You will need to be free to start on the 3rd June 2019. Currently this role is until the end of July.

Undergraduate and Postgraduate Results Processing and Student Record Management  Help administer and organise School exam boards and business meetings. Assist with the management of specific student cases.  Provide specialist support for departmental exam boards.  Advise departmental staff and students on degree, progression and classification regulations.  Communicate sensitive and complex exam board decisions to departmental staff and students.  Assist with the delivery of training on results processing to colleagues both internal and external to the SSC.  Oversee the logging and maintenance of exceptional (mitigating) circumstances documentation submitted by students.  Enter students for reassessments according to programme regulations and exam board decisions.  Help manage the data held in the student records system and run regular data quality checks.  Manage and update content for the web pages associated with results processing.  Issue transcripts and award documentation for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Nomination and Management of External Examiners for Taught Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes  Help administer the nomination process and provide advice to colleagues on regulations/procedures as appropriate. Liaise with internal colleagues to facilitate committee level
approval.  Maintain records of current and previous external examiners.  Arrange for payment of external examiners, liaising with Finance and Human Resources as appropriate.  Monitor the submission of external examiner reports and ensure all required submissions are received.  Manage and update content for the web pages associated with external examiners. Graduation Support  Provide support for managing email enquiries and student/guest bookings during peak periods. Student Service Centre Duties  Assist with all key administrative events such as Graduation, Registration and Exams.  Share responsibilities for the SSC's email inboxes and telephone lines, responding to general queries but referring on specialist queries as appropriate.  Provide information and specialist advice on SSC policies and procedures to colleagues, students and other parties.  Assist with the preparation and maintenance of SSC process manuals, including, but not limited to, those relating to results processing and external examination.  Undertake regular shifts on the SSC counter, responding to student enquiries in a helpful, friendly and accurate manner.  Advise and assist colleagues in the development and use of basic IT reports which form part of the day-to-day activities of the SSC teams.  Support the work of temporary staff, including providing advice, training and supervision as appropriate.  Attend and make active contributions to meetings, either team based or individual.  Deputise for SSC Managers as required and as appropriate.  Ensure that records, both electronic and paper based are maintained accurately and in accordance with the company and legal requirements.  Fulfil requests for documentation or information from students and colleagues.  Advise managers in the SSC of potential improvements to services and/or processes as and when they are identified.  Undertake additional duties that may reasonably be assigned by the SSC Managers or other senior managers in the Division. Note The department has a progressive pay structure that rewards you with annual pay increases up to a certain level
