Senior Assembler Technician Supervisor

Amesbury, Wiltshire


Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm

Salary £23,000 - £27,000 deopending on experience

Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Assembler Technician Supervisor to join their fantastic team.

The responsibilities :

  • Handle small, medium and larger parts to create a finished product from either build instructions or directly from drawings

  • Ensure the assembly area is maintained as a safe, clean and tidy working environment

  • Make sure that production time lines are maintained

  • Report all discrepancies and complete the necessary paperwork as appropriate

  • Oversee all products being manufactured to ensure build quality is maintained at all times

  • Supervising the junior assembly technician, and managing the manufacturing area

Candidate should have :

  • A solid background as an assembly technician having ultimately achieved a
    skilled level and also demonstrating supervisor experience is preferred

  • Be able to understand the Works Order and Picking process within the
    manufacturing sphere

  • Ability to study, understand and provide input into the following:
    � Schematics and diagrams
    � Test plans and instructions
    � Process documents

  • Ability to assemble and train others to assemble parts or components, including
    small basic electrical sub-assemblies to build a finished product

  • Be able inspect parts and identify defects prior to and during the manufacturing

  • Identification of areas for potential process improvement and communicate
    opportunities as necessary
