Job Summary

An exciting temporary opportunity has arisen to join our credit control team based in Fareham. You will be responsible for delivery of operational objectives and provision of UK retained support within the Direct Debit and Credit Control areas. You will be responsible for a high degree of planning, coordination and monitoring of tasks/activities to meet operational targets whilst delivering positive customer outcomes and cost-effective service.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drives delivery of operational objectives and targets to maximise productivity, quality and service standards across teams in the UK.

  • Strong people leadership experience ensuring training and development support provided to ensure delivery of team deliverables.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of processes and procedures relevant to the function and takes a proactive role in improving efficiency.

  • Problem solver who provides high level of oversight and support to our customers.

  • Demonstrate problem solving skills, with good attention to detail ensuring accuracy.

  • Takes informed business decisions within authority levels.

  • An advocate of continuous improvement who supports projects, working closely with others to deliver added value.

  • Promotes positive customer perception.


  • Institute of Credit Management (ICM) on-going study or qualification desired but not essential.

  • Experience within a Finance Operations function or a relevant business context.

  • Experience within a Financial Services Organisation.

  • Experience of people management.

  • Good knowledge of business systems, processes and procedures.

  • Knowledge of relevant industry practice.

  • Good knowledge of relevant technology including insurance industry systems and software.

  • Understanding of the UK General Insurance market.

  • Knowledge of financial services legislation, regulation and accounting practices.

Further Information

  • 4 - 5 month contract

  • Monday to Friday 9-5pm

  • Part time of FT roles going

  • Ongoing support and development

  • Full training given
