Job Title: Senior Human Resources Advisor


Pay Rate: £20 per hour


Duration: 6 Months


Location: Hounslow


DRIVING LICENCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE.


PURPOSE OF ROLE:



To contribute to the provision of a professional Schools Human Resources function, ensuring compliance with Council policy, employment legislation and best practice to safeguard the Schools and the Council.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES



Corporate




  1. To work with the Head of HR & Schools HR Business Partner, and where appropriate other Departments to ensure services are integrated at the point of delivery and at the strategic planning level and to identify new opportunities for business efficiencies.




  1. To work with key stakeholders in improving service quality and promoting creative and innovative ways of tackling local problems, ensuring services are developed which meet the needs of our community and are accessible to all users.




  1. To raise performance in Human Resources by contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.




  1. To promote a positive image of Hounslow and represent the Council attending and presenting at events and working parties as may be required.




  1. To provide professional advice to head teachers, senior leadership teams, and school governors on relevant areas of service delivery, ensuring compliance with the employment legislation and HR good practice




  1. To take active steps to contribute to the achievement of all of the Council's priorities
