We are looking to recruit a Senior Recruitment Consultant to manage a Professional Staffing desk covering IT, Marketing and Finance positions throughout the Midlands.


This is an extremely varied role that desires someone with excellent communication skills, time management and attention to detail. Relationship building is a pivotal part of this role as well as the ability to communicate effectively with clients and candidates alike.


You need to have the confidence to speak to people over the phone and on a face to face basis, work to tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment. This role would perfectly suit someone who thrives off working under pressure.


You need to have a positive attitude with the desire to succeed, a self- starter with minimal supervision required and a target/sale's driven attitude to your role as this will also be instrumental in your steps to success!


Key Tasks and Responsibilities:



  • Achieve weekly/monthly/annual targets as per performance and promotion criteria

  • To develop and maintain good working relationships with clients ensuring an efficient service is provided that exceeds their resourcing requirements

  • Gain commitment from clients through regular contact either by phone, email or meetings

  • Optimise all opportunities to sell the services of the Company

  • Structure daily and weekly activities to ensure targets are met or exceeded

  • Manage hotlists of candidates, to ensure you have the very best available candidates in your specialist market

  • To report individual weekly performance forecast, update and review to line manager and colleagues in open forum

  • Manage client relationships, ensuring first point of contact for client account

  • Lead internal sales meetings providing guidance to Recruitment Executives

  • Carry out sales presentations at client meetings and participate in the bid process

  • Achieve weekly/monthly/annual targets in line with Company Performance and Promotion Criteria

  • Create personal business plans to achieve team/personal objectives.

  • Report individual weekly performance to line manager and colleagues in open forum

  • Work closely with colleagues to achieve team targets/objectives

  • Act as a role model, mentoring Consultants, as directed by the Team Leader or Senior Management Team

  • Assist the Team Leader, as required, in coaching team members, creating & implementing training plans
