Senior Recruitment Officer

Our client, a well-known brand across South Wales, is looking for an experienced recruiter to join their team. The ideal candidate will deliver end-to-end recruitment of their continuously growing business across Wales and the South West. This position will sit within the People and Recruitment Division reporting directly into HR and the Recruitment Manager. You will also be required to liaise closely with the operations team and senior management where you will be the key person to drive all recruitment strategy, ensure all open vacancies are filled appropriately without compromising on quality and your main focus is on building future talent pipelines across the business. As the role is fast paced, you will need to have excellent organisational skills and be a self-motivated individual.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take open vacancy job briefs from Area Managers and other senior members of the team

  • Place adverts on company website, job boards and other social media channels

  • Share live vacancies internally with all existing employees via SMS, Email and Social Media

  • Source applicants from job boards and social media channels including Linked In

  • Build and maximise a sound referral network both internally with employees and externally

  • Build and manage sound relationships with external partners including agencies where necessary

  • Attend job fairs and networking event in person and/or virtually to attract candidates and build our employer brand

  • Screen applicants via telephone, video calling and face-to-face when permitted

  • Arrange interviews and work trials with the operations team

  • Liaise closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure a clear understanding of future recruitment needs via region to assist with future talent pipeline planning and building

  • Build a strong talent pipeline for future roles increasing the database and reducing the open to fill timescales

  • Ensure maximum candidate engagement through an outstanding recruitment and on boarding service

  • Consistently review the candidate attraction and recruitment process to ensure it is delivering what we need and share ideas with the wider team where improvements can be made

  • Collate divisional activity and results data and deliver findings to the Senior Management Team on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis

  • Look at new ways of attracting Talent into the business using creative and solution- based thinking

  • Support the HR & Recruitment Manager with projects
