We are looking for Qualified HCPC registered Social workers who have post-qualifying experience working as a senior/ Team Leader or manager within a Child protection team,

As a manager in this position you will be accountable for delivering high quality care for children in the service, You should be able to demonstrate the ability to build on the well-established principles and practice standards existing within the company and proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of childcare standard.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensuring effective communication to all staff through written information, team briefings and management meetings.

  • Ensuring that any matters relating to child protection are managed in line with current legislation, national standards and best safeguarding practice.

  • Supervise and support the staff group ensuring that the team are developed appropriately to meet the specific needs of children.

  • Undertake any other duties that may be set out by the team manager.

All applicants must be HCPC registered with at least 2 years post-qualifying experience as a Team leader/ Manager within a Child Protection team.
