I am currently recruiting an SEO Manager to join an award winning company in Warrington who are going through an exciting period of Growth.


The Role


As SEO Manager you will play a key role in all aspects of search engine optimisation, across our UK and international websites. Your focus will be on driving natural search traffic to our websites. You will increase the visibility and engagement through key search terms and phrases, fully reviewing all web activity and traffic and making recommendations on future activity. You will work on web development projects, including undertaking some programming, and the measurement of digital activity.


Tasks include:



  • Development and implementation of the international SEO plan.

  • Conducting on-page / technical SEO audits to find and remove any impediments to SEO performance on our websites

  • Conducting off-page content and link profile analysis on our websites to discover vertical trends and determine weaknesses and opportunities

  • Producing SEO analysis including performance metrics, keyword research, competitive market audits, website audits, etc.

  • Web development

  • Working collaboratively with the wider marketing team to enhance site usability and overall customer experience

  • Using Industry leading tools including Google Analytic's to produce monthly reports


The Person



  • A bright and dynamic individual, willing and able to learn quickly

  • Demonstrable experience of meeting or, preferably, exceeding SEO-related KPIs

  • Advanced problem-solving skills for websites and technical SEO implementation

  • Understanding of mobile SEO

  • Understanding of rich data tags

  • Experience including: on-page SEO factors and site architecture improvements

  • Website user experience and conversion optimisation

  • Previous involvement in full SEO life cycle- off and on page strategies

  • Detailed understanding of search engines and user experience

  • Good analytical skills, with experience in web data analysis, e.g. Google Analytics

  • Understanding of paid search engine marketing a plus

  • Experience working for a marketing agency (desirable, not essential)

  • Experience of working across international territories

  • Passionate about all things digital, keeping abreast of emerging trends when it comes to search, to make sure that you're always ahead of the curve

  • Competency with SEO concepts including, but not limited to, indexation, duplication, site architecture and page speed

  • Programming skills such as Word Press-specific PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS

  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Excellent literacy and verbal communication skills in English

  • Good organisation, able to work well under pressure, multi-tasking and meeting deadlines

  • Strong team player

  • Can-do attitude, willingness to get stuck in and make things happen

  • Excellent attention to detail
