Service Centre Support Advisor


Full-time / Permanent / 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday


Location: Cirencester


Salary: £18,000 to £24,000 depending on experience

Due to expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Centre Support Advisor that will be dealing with all aspects of Warranty Claims processing for a major car service centre based in Cirencester. My client is looking for someone with good administrative and communication skills, a team player, fully conversant with all Microsoft Office applications (Excel/Word/Outlook/Power Point etc.), is process driven with a willingness to learn and has an enthusiasm for the motor industry.



RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:




  • To provided Warranty support to the Service Centre network

  • To handle manually processed claims as quickly as possible

  • To process and route all Warranty claims to the correct Supplier/Source

  • To process all returned and rejected claims to the correct Supplier/Source

  • To process all returned and rejected claims from the factory within agreed timescales

  • To validate claims that require Prior Work Approval and ensure claims are only accepted within Factory/CCC guidelines

  • Tor provide support to TMA programmes and ensure the return of all displaced parts to the correct vendor

  • To maintain a thorough knowledge of MME and CCC Warranty Policies and Procedures

  • To assist with ad hoc completion/invoicing of duplicate service books and the preparation of warranty claim trend analysis

  • To ensure that all relevant Warranty and Technical newsletters are regularly reviewed and the contents acted upon during claims processing

  • To cover for the Service Centre Support Advisor (Parts) as required (for example: during holidays)

  • Ensure all relevant JSOX procedures and processes are fully complied with at all times

  • Maintain the company image at all times through good business relationships with suppliers, dealers and the general public. As and when required to represent the company at national and regional meetings, events, shows etc.



SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:




  • Good GCSE/equivalent level of education

  • Fully conversant in the use of Microsoft Office applications

  • Previously worked in a customer facing role (for example Service Receptionist)

  • Good written and verbal communications skills

  • Excellent telephone manner

  • Good team player
