Job Title: Service Coordinator


Salary: up to £24,000 per annum


Location: Hitchin, Hertfordshire


Hours: 37.hr Monday to Friday - 8.00am - 5.00pm

Responsibilities include:



  • As a Service Coordinator your main responsibility will be to schedule the work of our Service Engineers, in a specific geographical location.

  • It is the role of the Service Coordinator to plan the jobs on priority basis, taking into consideration security issues, Engineer location as well as Engineer skill-set.

  • Our Engineers complete a variety of different works across a range of access products. Jobs could be for emergency reactive work, compliance checks or quoted work repairs and upgrades.

  • This role requires great problem-solving skills, as well as good organisation and communication skills as you will be required to act as the liaison between our customers and Engineers, providing updates and ensuring they are kept up to date with the time of their visits as well as the progress.

  • For certain jobs, you may be required to order materials or plant to ensure all jobs can be completed first-time!


Skills:



  • The successful candidate will be a great team player, and ideally have experience of installing aluminium shop fronts/curtain walling. Or be from an access control/electrical installations background.

  • As the first point of contact with the customer, you will be a superb communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • In addition, a full clean manual driving license is essential for this position.
