Adecco are currently recruiting for an experianced Service Technician. Our client is a market leader in health care products and services.



GENERAL SUMMARY:



To install, service modify and demonstrate new dental equipment in customers' practices.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


The Installation or service of equipment for customers by working with the dentist and other team members.


Install equipment according to drawings agreed by the customer. Use tools for assembly, fixing, electrical wiring and plumbing, etc.


Ensure the equipment functions correctly by checking for leaks, noises, etc, during operation.


Install or service dental equipment to manufacturer's specifications, to pre-installed services provided by others.


Install or service equipment to the highest possible standard within the allocated time period.


Install into new / existing equipment secondary devices.


Demonstrate installed equipment so the customer understands and is happy with its operation.


Physical Activities:

This position will require the repair and installation of Dental Equipment into Dental Practices. Engineers will be expected to manoeuvre large equipment both in a warehouse and in the customer's surgery.




QUALIFICATIONS:


Experience:

Minimum 3+ year's electrical experience.

Experience of working with Dental equipment an advantage but not essential.





Education:

Good standard of education with good literacy and numeracy skills.



Specialised Knowledge and Skills:

A background in the service industry with knowledge and understanding of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Good computer knowledge and demonstrable fault finding ability.
