Hi, Adecco UK are recruiting for a Software Engineer to work for one of our prestigious clients based in Congleton! This will be a contract role Outside IR35.

Duration: 6 Months
Hours: Monday - Friday between 8-5

Temporary position Software Engineer working on updating, adding new features, and fixing bugs on a Windows-based software
package data that is used in our worldwide repair centres - based in Congleton
We are looking for a contractor to work within the R&D software engineering team at our award-winning site in Congleton UK,
part of the Motion Control (MC) division. The role will be to work within the software development team concentrating on updating,
adding new features, and fixing bugs on a Windows-based software package data that is used in our worldwide repair centres.



What are my responsibilities?
Your responsibilities will be in the following areas:
* Adding new features to, updating and fixing bugs on a windows-based software package data that is used in our
worldwide repair centres to download variant specific data to variable speed drives.
* You must be able to work unsupervised. You will be working independently within our software team and liaise with
stakeholders on a regular basis.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Candidates must be able to demonstrate all the following to be considered for this role:
* Need knowledge of C & C++
* Knowledge of .NET
* Configuration management systems such as GIT
* Knowledge of serial link protocols.
