Sourcing manager needed in Nottingham


We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Sourcing/ Procurement Manager to cover staff absence on an ongoing basis (this could be for up to 3-6 months.) We will aim to provide the candidate with as much notice as possible when we are aware of the post holder's return.


The role will be full time and working from home for the foreseeable future until staff begin to return to the office where the location will be Nottingham City centre and our Harvey Road site.


The salary would be in the region of: £45,859 - £48,848 however we can go above this for the right candidate, therefore please indicate the candidate expectations on the application form.



The duties:


Act on behalf of NCH to develop, manage and promote the performance of the Company's procurement service across the City by providing strategic and operational direction to Assistant


Director (Finance and Procurement) working with tenants and other key stakeholders to make our communities a great place to live and work. Responsible for ensuring Company procurement and contracts provide excellent Value for Money (VFM and deliver works, goods and services which fully meet the needs of the business within budget resources.



  • Proven experience of working with Contracts and within a value for money framework



  • Significant and comprehensive evidence of production and management of UK and EU tenders to the highest standard



  • Comprehensive working knowledge of all relevant procurement legislation and regulations, including UK & EU Regs, Financial Regulations, Company Standing Orders etc.

  • Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Standards

  • Evidence of managing people to deliver excellent services that deliver VFM

Qualifications

Supply (CIPS) or equivalent qualification
