Role:

Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for developing and driving the strategy for assigned metallic commodities across multiple sites to meet fulfillment, quality, deflation, cash and inventory objectives.

Essential Responsibilities:

*Lead the development and execution of the global commodity strategy & supplier agreements for assigned metallic commodities, with heavy focus on fabricated and cast flow cells.
*Sourcing lead for Flow Product Line Projects, working closely work with technology, GSC and Project management teams to identify and enable most effective suppliers to meet lead time and margin expectations
*Support NPI (new product introductions) and drive tollgate rigor for assigned commodities.
*Meet cost out deflation targets via supplier negotiations, alternate supplier development and/or shifting to Low Cost Region suppliers; develop strategic relationships with global suppliers
*Ensure supplier performance stability to meet delivery and quality expectations, via lead time reductions, capacity improvements, etc.
*Leverage vendor managed inventory (VMI), consignment, stocking programs and Min Order Quantity strategies with suppliers to meet inventory and fulfillment goals
*Drive supplier selection, development, and overall supplier management excellence
*Develop alternate sources and/or risk mitigation plans for single & sole source suppliers

Qualifications/Requirements:

*Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering discipline
*Min 2 years of supply chain experience with exposure to purchasing/sourcing processes
*Strong mechanical technical background; min 2 years of metallic related commodity experience
*Strong negotiation and project management skills, with excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills
*Strong financial and analytical skills

Desired Characteristics:

*Knowledge in ASTM/ASME Material Standards, EN, NACE, ATEX and PED knowledge is preferred
*Knowledge in Fabrication, Mechanical Assembly and Welding manufacturing processes
*Experience in Oil & Gas or Energy Industry
*Six Sigma trained; Black Belt or Green Belt certified with strong process mindset
*Experience in supplier development
*OMLP graduate
*Experience with SAP and ERP systems
