My Client is looking for a Product Supervisor to join there team to oversee the manufacturer of there world renowned product. to begin with this will be a trainee position but progressing to supervisor in due course.

The role is designed for someone who is practical, coordinated, organised and has an attention to detail.After time in the business you will gain knowledge across the whole production process from preparing raw material to finished product. The right candidate for the position should consider that some aspects of the process can be physically demanding when handling the product.

Due to the nature of this product, a successful applicant will require patience during the training stage until sufficient knowledge and practice can be demonstrated.

Since this opportunity leads to a supervisory role, strong people and communication skills will be required. Ideally the applicant will have some experience managing small groups of staff and management, analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

At the end of the training process, your role will include:-

  • The ability to produce product from raw material to finished product

  • Implementing production policies and procedures

  • Delegating manufacturing tasks so that the team meets production deadlines

  • Managing a small team of workers on the production floor and to evaluate each step of the process to ensure maximum efficiency.

  • Inspect product prior to shipment to ensure accurate labelling and record keeping

  • Quality control of product

  • Ensuring machinery is maintained and in good working order

  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to safety standards

The perfect candidate will be an enthusiastic individual, eager to learn, as this is a very specialised production technique. Becoming an integral part of the production team as our company expands and moves forward. Prior experience in manufacturing would be an advantage.
