Sports & Activities Officer (Trips and Tours and Activities Officer)


Location: Regents Park


Salary: £15.80


Duration: ASAP - Mid April


Contract type: Temporary, Part time.


Hours per week: 10 Hours


We have an exciting opportunity to work with our prestigious Higher education client based in Regents Park. We are recruiting for a Sports & Activities Officer; this is an immediate start date and currently until Mid-April. The role is paying £15.80.


The working pattern for this position is Monday (10am -1 pm )-Tuesday (10 am- 12 pm), -Friday (10 am - 3 pm)


The main areas of responsibility for the role are:



  • As a Sports & Activities Officer you will be required to support on the planning and implementation of physical, social and recreational activities for the ELC students.

  • Create a vibrant and motivational environment, which encourages and inspires a greater level of activity and engagement of ELC students

  • Maintain up-to-date operating procedures, including risk assessments.

  • Create and promote the weekly programme of activities for ELC students, including existing engagement activities

  • Create all required promotional materials for the ELC weekly activities

  • Attend induction days and schedule classroom visits to distribute promotional materials

  • Implement and supervise the weekly activities for ELC students inside and outside campus, with special attention to the under 18 students and report results to the Student Engagement Manager

  • Attend and contribute to meetings and events as required by the Student Engagement Manager during working days

  • Attend and actively participate in all basic training as identified in the Student Service training plan.


Essential Experience:



  • Experience in delivering/guiding trips and tours

  • Experience in trips sales and promotion

  • Experience in logistic and planning

  • Experience in fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written & oral communication skills

  • Microsoft Office literacy
