Sports Data Operators - Part time - Night Shifts


Remote Working (must live in Greater Manchester)


20 hours per week across 7 days, Saturday and Sunday are essential


(must be happy with part time hours ongoing)


£8.91 per hour



We are recruiting for some great data analysis roles within the sports industry.


You will have great attention to detail and some technical experience to work with a leading provider of tech systems to the sports industry. The role will start in October and you will work through the rest of 2021 and 2022.



Requirements


You will be able to commit to 20 hours of availability each week


Be happy to work between the hours of 7pm and 5am (with no other work schedule in the daytime)


Shifts will always be on a Saturday and Sunday so ability to work these nights is essential


This is a remote working role however candidates must be in the Greater Manchester area for kit delivery and some training days



Responsibilities:



  • Watch sports matches to track/confirm software tracking of dead-balls, stoppage time, and other similar events

  • Correctly identify and confirm teams, lineups, and players, as well as tracking markings on players

  • Attentiveness during live ball situations

  • Communicate with your Manager if issues arise

  • Participate in post-game meetings to provide feedback to Operators and Operations Managers to identify problems



Required Skills:



  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to focus on a game while in a sometimes loud and potentially distracting environment

  • Extremely punctual, many shifts will start near the game start time

  • A passion for football

  • Ability to effectively communicate, sometimes under pressure, to the Operations Managers and give detailed explanations of what is occurring during football games

  • Team player who is adaptable to change
