Adecco are delighted to be supporting our client based in Newbury who are seeking a Stock Controller. The role is working Monday - Friday, 7am - 3.30pm or 7.30am - 4pm and offering a salary of £21,450


No experience required and full training given, you must however have the willingness to learn.


Duties include but not limited to:



  • Return completed kits to Stores within 24hrs of receipt into department

  • Locate and check for stock accuracy all parts in the warehouse

  • Ensure the condition of counted stock and it's required packaging is kept within its requirements in storage.

  • Make note and report on stock discrepancies and maintain the MRP system.

  • Achieve time targets whilst maintaining accuracy and consistency across all tasks.


The ideal candidate will have:



  • Possess an investigative nature to determine cause for discrepancies

  • Working knowledge of stock/inventory systems.

  • Experience of working with MRP systems advantageous

  • Ability to communicate clearly and calmly verbally and via email.

  • Competent level of IT literacy in Outlook and ability to learn new software as required.
