Adecco Stoke are looking to recruit an experienced Stores person for a well established client located in Meir. The ideal applicant will hold a valid FLT Counterbalance licence and previous experience of handling " Goods in" and stock control. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be computer literate.
Duties will involve-
- To ensure all parts removed from the location have the relevant paperwork and to generally to maintain it in a tidy and orderly way.
- To maintain quality, batch control and traceability of all parts and to ensure the department operates to the quality manual
- To issue stock parts to the workshop as required with the correct paperwork
- To assist with regular stock checks when required
- To use the company computer system to maintain accurate records
- To keep the working area / stores free of hazards as per the company's health and safety policy
- To accurately pick stock items in accordance with the outgoing paperwork ensuring conformance to the customer's requirements.
- To adequately package all orders for safe delivery to the customer.
- To liaise with the various carriers used for delivery to customers.
- To be flexible as possible with working hours at times of heavy workload.
- To deal with despatches by post and with letter mail requirements, and to generally to maintain it in a tidy and orderly way
This is a temporary role for 12 weeks initially to then be reviewed. Full time working 37 hours each week Monday-Friday- week 1- 8:30am-4:30pm and week 2- 9am-5pm. Rate of pay from £9.50ph.
