Role: Strategic Partner Manager - Mobile Apps & Gaming
Location: London
Duration: 12 months or until mid of April 2022


Salary: 57K-69K per year
Applicable Bonus: company bonus plan



We are recruiting on behalf of our Client who is a Tech Giant and looking to hire a Strategic Partner Manager with experience working with mobile application developers; gaming experience preferred.


Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of our products to power their business. The team partners with Publishers and App Developers of all sizes to promote their ad inventory, working with a broad range of partner solutions including AdSense, AdMob, and Ad Manager, across mobile, display, and video formats, helping our partners and their audiences get the most out of the web. In addition, the Partnerships team supports our own product teams with essential partnerships to help power our


user experiences in search, maps, travel, shopping, payments and more.



The EMEA SBD Apps team manages the largest and most complex AdMob mobile developer relationships across the region. We are responsible for growing ads revenue and driving platform adoption with our partners, while innovating commercially to benefit the wider apps business.



In the UK specifically, we manage a selection of high profile local developers, including one of the largest and most strategically significant group holding companies in the region.



Job Responsibilities


Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of our key clients and showcase how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.



Using your knowledge of the industry, combined with your communication skills and experience of how the apps ecosystem works, you will provide the right mix of technical and strategic advice that will enable our partners to grow using our products. You work with the most important developers in the space, and they look to you as a trusted partner who can help them grow their businesses to the next level.




  • Account management of four key clients

    • Both C-level and Day-to-Day relationship management

    • Maximize AdMob platform adoption and format optimizations across top tier EMEA app developers, working with other sales, scaled and product teams.

    • Hands on implementation, ad-hoc analysis, optimisation & issue resolution

    • Provide market insight, competitive benchmarks, strategic consulting

    • Working with Play and Ad Sales counterparts to pitch and implement cross-functional features



  • Collaboration

    • Collaborate across all of EMEA Partnerships and with the global apps teams to deliver partner-centred innovation in product and services

    • Provide critical market feedback to Product Management and Sales leadership to support platform adoption and strategy shifts





Preferred Qualifications



  • 4+ years of experience in the mobile or advertising space.

  • Experience working with mobile application developers; gaming experience preferred.

  • Experience working with complex, multinational clients at both operational and executive level.

  • Long-term strategic thinking balanced with near-term execution skills.

  • Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to work and navigate through ambiguity with little or no guidance.

  • Contract negotiation experience.
