An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Strategy and Policy and Performance officer to join a local public organisation based in East London.

If you are successful for this role you will be responsible for the following:

  • Production of needs assessments and analytical products for client Directorates to support strategic planning and commissioning. The post holder will be required to lead drafting of briefings and needs assessments for review by management.

  • Undertake quality assurance and compliance activities as required across client Directorates. Duties will include following up on recommendations from internal and external regulators and auditors, checking and chasing compliance with corporate data collection activities and undertaking data quality spot-checks.

  • Provide support, guidance, advice and challenge to client Directorates in improving data quality and completion of statutory returns to ensure that the organisations performance is maximised within national performance frameworks.

  • Proactively monitor the quality of data underpinning client Directorates and work with services, providers and partners to secure continual improvement
