We are recruiting for 2 temporary Student Immigration & Compliance Officers for our Higher Education client based in the West End of London.


Start and end date: 1 December for up to 3 months (note they are closing from 24 December to 3 January so not during this period).


These are full-time, 35 hours per week roles, this will be 3 days on campus and 2 days working from home.


Pay: £15.80





















To be responsible for ensuring that all the required compliance activities that have been agreed are performed to a required standard for reporting to UKVI and to pass an audit inspection by UKVI (e.g. attendance monitoring, discontinuation of studies, visa extensions, failure to enroll)



To undertake the day-to-day compliance work, such as class and non-class attendance monitoring (e.g. PG Taught dissertation, PG Research, Student Period Abroad etc.). To also ensure maintenance of accurate student records, and seeking ways to streamline the work to improve efficiency and effectiveness.



To be responsible for carrying out regular audit checks on visa student records that they are fit for purpose for announced or unannounced Home Office visits.



To monitor any "at risk" students approaching the attendance limit and to liaise with key departments such as Faculties and Student Support to alert them of those students and report this to Student Immigration and Compliance Manager



To provide advice and support to colleagues involved in the processing of


Confirmation of Acceptance to Study (CAS) in order to ensure its validity when used in a Student visa application.

























Experience of audit and compliance regimes and working practices



Experience of analysing, interpreting and applying the Immigration Rules, Student Sponsor Guidance



Experience of working in a Higher Education Institute or similar



Experience of maintaining an excellent service delivery under pressure
