I have an exciting opportunity to work with our client who is a prestigious university based in Central London. The role of Student Services Administrator is temporary for 6 months, paying £16.74 per hour. This role is 100% campus based and starts on the 1st July 2021.


You will be responsible for supporting the Exams and Course Selection team to deliver core activities including, course selection, and exams (online or in person). You may also be required to assist with the delivery of core events including Welcome and registration.


The responsibilities of the role are to:



  • Support the Exams and Course Selection team with the day-to-day administration of the team's main functions,

  • Work with the team to prepare for the course selection and exam periods,

  • Assist students with course selection and exam queries,

  • Liaise with other sections and divisions as necessary.


Essential criteria:



  • Experience of working in a busy administrative environment.

  • Intermediate - advanced working knowledge of Microsoft office (particularly excel)

  • Ability to work well within a team.

  • Ability to prioritise own workload and deliver excellent service by specified deadlines.

  • Education to degree level or equivalent

  • Proven commitment to delivering an outstanding level of customer service.

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent standard of written and oral communication

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.

  • Fast learner who is pro-active

  • Ability to maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude.


Desirable:



  • Experience of having successfully working in an administrative function in the higher education sector.

  • Good working knowledge of SITS or another student database

  • Good working knowledge of Moodle

  • Experience of preparing for and/or administering and delivering exam periods.
