Supervisor - UK Wholesale Heathrow
A vacancy has arisen within the Aftermarket Wholesale business for a Supervisor. The position will report to the Regional Manager and will be based at the Heathrow Branch. The purpose of the role is to Support the Regional Manager of the Wholesale Branch in ascertaining the highest standards of business performance. The duties include, yet are not limited to:



Warehouse
* Receiving deliveries, putting stock away in the correct location
* Picking Customer orders and loading relevant vehicles in accordance with a delivery schedule
* Quality Control - minor rectification work ie polishing glass for small defects
* Undertake and maintain good housekeeping, ensuring that all areas are kept clean, clear and free from hazard or obstruction
* Perform stock takes as and when required
Office
* Process customer enquiries and process customer orders
* Process Branch Banking on a regular basis in line with Company procedures
Assist the Customer Services Team in:
* managing Branch Aged Debtors Processing and filing of paperwork in line with Company procedures.
* processing of Branch Replenishment Orders including raising and updating of orders
Driving
* Ensure glass is delivered in a suitable condition and in a timely manner to the intended destination
* Maintain a professional appearance at all times in both presence and driving style
Support
* Continuously develop a safe working attitude amongst employees and deliver the safety standards for the site as set by the NSG Group
* Identify training requirements for employees to ensure the highest possible standards of customer service to our customers
* Work with the Regional Manager to improve business with current customers
* Ensure that the sites are run within the costs budget as outlined by the Regional Manager and set by the UK Operations Manager
* Ensure site processes such as stock takes and holiday plans are maintained and understood so as to avoid any unnecessary expense within the business and lost sales
* Ensure that all issues such as breakages & scratches are understood such as to avoid unnecessary cost and lost sales
* Identify and lead any site improvement projects agreed to by the business
* Support to other sites as and when required
* Project work identified and agreed to by the Regional Manager



All duties are to be performed to the sites Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) where applicable, this includes strict adherence to site and Customer Health & Safety regulations.



The successful candidate will:



* hold a full driving licence
* have good IT skills, with the ability to use Outlook, Word & Excel. Strong SAP Knowledge
* have a good knowledge of the Automotive industry and products
* have a good understanding of SOP's to be followed and adhered to
* have the ability to drive progress and overcome barriers to deliver results
* have excellent attention to detail, highly data rational and a constructive problem solver

* have strong planning, prioritisation and organisational skills
* have good interpersonal skills allowing interfaces at all levels in the AGR businesses
* be friendly, polite and approachable
* have excellent oral and written communications skills
* have the ability to identify issues/queries requiring timely resolution to managerial level
* have a good geographical understanding of customer service area
* be willing to learn and participate on additional projects within NSG as they arise
* be able to competently carry out duties for a Warehouse Operative
* have the ability to manage/cover branch in absence of Regional Manager for a short period
Salary and Benefits
* Working hours are 42 hours per week, 5 days per week
