Adecco are hiring candidates for a supplier performance role for our prestegious global client which speacialises in aerospace, military and defense.
Candidates can be UK wide as it is a field based role with occasional visits to our clients Banbury and Wolverhampton sites.
Role: Supplier Operational Support (Supplier Performance)
Duration: 12 months
Location: This role will involve travel to supplier sites, will be primarily a field based role. Offices based in Banbury and Wolverhampton, will be travelling UK wide and may have the opportunity to travel overseas if the need arises.
Role Summary:
The SOS focal will provide a broad range of supplier performance activities to all client business units including:
� Dedicated SPC for all E4 Supplier escalations raised by APS sites.
� LOB tracking, Component Expediting and reducing lead time on critical programs. Arrears recovery and execution of BTG plans with critical SOS suppliers.
� Implementation of Actuation SOS 6 bicycle steps across European region.
� To work with client stakeholders to resolve technical, Quality and engineering issues within supplier manufacturing processes.
� Use of Lean tools to improve efficiency of supplier processes. Linkage and flow, capacity planning, Elimination of Scrap & Rework.
� Daily Communication of critical actions & Milestones to client stakeholders.
� Any additional tasks requested by management team.
Basic Qualifications:
Qualifications / Experience / Requirements
- Technical / Craft Apprentice qualified.
- MCIPS or related manufacturing qualifications.
- Experience of working with a Tier 1 Aerospace company essential.
- Demonstrable cross team working ability
- Ability to operate in a dynamic environment
- Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally
- Experience working in a Supply Chain environment
- Strong project management skills

- IT skills - Knowledge of Excel, Word and ERP systems (prior SAP use a distinct advantage).
