Supply Chain Coordinator


Full time - Permanent

We are looking for an excellent & hardworking Supply Chain Coordinator to work for a reputable company based in Lichfield.

The Role will include:
The main duties and responsibilities for this role will include, confirmation and expediting of all purchase orders on a daily basis, placing purchase orders directly on the system, dealing with invoice queries and claims, and all general enquiries via telephone/email or fax. Liaise with key suppliers to ensure goods are of the correct quality and delivery to confirmed delivery dates. Maintain supply chain management. Control effective stocks. Assist with purchasing of all materials in line with company requirements. Positively working alongside goods in department, posting stock to orders and other responsibilities as required.

* The ability to work under pressure and respond to meet deadlines
* Methodical approach and focus on attention to detail
* Be able to influence suppliers to strive for results
* Understand stock control and stock movement

Liaison with:
* Suppliers
* Internal/external sales teams
* Setting out, estimating, contracts and service offices
* Project managers
* Accounts office
* Technical and production teams
