A global manufacturing organisation are looking to recruit 4 full time support operators to work 40 hours per week on the site turnaround preparation and execution phases until at least October 2022.

Candidates will need to have experience in a similar role and ideally have experience on-site at Dow Silicones, Barry.

Duties to include supporting the front end loading preparation work required by the operations team to safely and reliably execute the 2022 site TAR.

Responsibilities include:

  • Walk job specific work packs identifying any planning gaps from an operational perspective and highlight back to the OTAC & TA maintenance planner.

  • Pre-write SWPs (including any associated checklists) based on the work packs and field walkdowns to identify working hazards and escalate any potential concerns to the OTAC.

  • Review plant IOES schemes to ensure they are update to date relevant for the worklist to be completed.

  • Compile all operational documentation required for each specific work pack e.g LEO tags, residual LEO checklists, IOES schemes, IOES tags etc. Organise the required documentation for each plant system aligned to the specific WO. Ensure work packs are also included.

  • Support all operations based TAR preparation activities as directed by the area OTA

  • Follows Operating Discipline policies, principles, procedures, standards and practices to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of assigned plant areas. Ensures adequate operating discipline is available for all planned and unplanned activities.

  • During execution phase provides support which may include activities such as training, permitting, isolation of energy, line and equipment opening as needed.

  • Supports special unit activities or projects, as assigned
