SUPPORT TECHNICIAN BASED IN FELTHAM & LONDON, UK.



We have an opportunity for you to join our established, well known, global brand as a Support Technician. This position is offered on a 12 month contract with a view to be extended thereafter.


Your working days you would be based across two sites, one in Feltham and the other Finsbury, Central London.



Hours: 40 hours per week: Monday to Friday.


The pay rate for this role as a support technician is £9.38 per hour dependant on experience.




About the Role The Support Technician:



You would work within the IT team will be on the front line and fully integrated into the client support system. You would need to cover the IT support on both offices and give time to improve the department's procedures. The ideal candidate will support all employees within the company. The primary task of this position will be to troubleshoot and resolve end users issues; image, deploy and support systems; assist with day to day tasks and troubleshoot internal network connectivity issues.



Requirements of the Support Technician:




  • You will have proficiency supporting users running macOS from 10.13 onwards.

  • Knowledge of conferencing tools like WebEx and the ability to support remote meetings.

  • Able to troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues, including LAN, WLAN, VPN and VoIP.

  • You must be able to create a fun positive friendly experience while troubleshooting highly technical issues.

  • You must be able to communicate in an easy to understand language and have a great team building social skills for IT and other departments.

  • You must have 3 years experience in working well within a team supporting each other and building each other up.

  • You have a flexible schedule and willing to travel between sites with short notice.

  • You have experience working in a rapidly changing environment.

  • The support technician would ideally also have an understanding of Okta, G-Suite, BetteeCloud and Confluence Knowledge.
