Switchboard Operator

Adecco are currently looking for a Switchboard Operator for an on-going temporary assignment in Barnet.

Annual Salary an average £25-27K this includes your basic hours worked/hourly rate, guaranteed monthly bonus of £210 after 12 weeks service, plus shift enhancement of time and half for saturdays and double time for sundays and bank holidays, plus opportunity to work overtime at rate of time and a third.

The role will include:

Call Answering

Internal / external calls and forwarding to the appropriate departments

Operate internal Pager system to bleep on call staff

Emergency/Major Incident Procedures

Answer emergency calls for Clinical Teams, Medical, Surgical, Orthopaedic, Paediatric, ENT

Test pager system and pagers twice daily and log results.

Test Major Incident and Backup line twice daily

Alarms

You will be required to monitor a series of Alarms, for instance Fire Alarm, main reception etc

General Duties

Send faulty pagers and headsets for repair

Assist other departments in general telephony enquiries, diverting them to Telephone Helpdesk for further assistance, if necessary.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be flexible in their approach as the role does have shift patterns that change weekly.

You will also need to go through a Credit and Criminal check prior to starting with us.

We are looking for someone that is confident over the phone and has customer service experience.

Payrate:

£11.05 for London Living Wage Foundation Rate and £9.50 for UK Living Wage Foundation Rate

The rota is 5 weeks rotating:
