Adecco Public Sector is partnering with a Public Sector organisation who is looking to engage with a Project Manager to support a number of high profile projects for an initial 6 month contract with very likely extensions. This post is responsible for the successful project management and implementation of ICT led projects. The role will offer hybrid working but a presence will be required on a weekly basis.
Duties and projects to manage:
** Procure and install an IP based/cloud hosted - Telephony system - replacing current on site telephone system
** Decommissioning of IT services from one of the sites (inc re-provisioning of network links, telephony links, etc)
** Commissioning of power and cooling into a designated server room
** Installation of IT windows services into the Core node rooms
** Liaise with construction partners network provider on the install wired network and WiFi network and keep program lead updated with issues/risks
** Offer support and mentorship to existing project managers
