Technical Root Cause Analysis Expert

I have a fantastic opportunity to join a major FMCG company based on the Slough Trading Estate, as a Technical Root Cause Analysis Expert.

£32 per hour

33 days holiday (including bank holidays)

3-6 month contract

The role:

The team are seeking an individual to fulfil a temporary role as an expert in root cause analysis and technical problem solving.

This individual should have a strong technical background in either mechanical or electrical engineering either as a technician or as an engineer with some previous hands on experience.

Specific skills required are as follows:

- Expert knowledge of root cause analysis processes (e.g. Ishikawa, FMEA, 5 Whys) with a broad perspective and knowledge base to quickly draw correct root cause conclusions

- Ability to coach and train others in root cause analysis

- Expert technical knowledge in either mechanical systems (pumps, gearboxes, pipework, valves, chains, belts, etc) or electrical control systems (PLCs, safety systems, motors, communications)
