My client, a Telematics company based in Birmingham Business Park, is currently recruiting a Telemarketer to join their high energy, dedicated and friendly sales team. You will be responsible for generating high quality new business leads for the sales team in the UK market segments.


  • Excellent remuneration package - salary up to £23-£25,000 + commission (based on proven experience and industry knowledge)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Targeted messaging and telephone calls in order to identify sales opportunities that match qualification criteria

  • Book appointments for the sales team to successfully close those sales opportunities

  • Understand and meet monthly targets

  • Proactively follow up leads generated from canvassing by the sales team

  • Use of initiative to identify and follow up opportunities with new businesses

  • Manage the CRM database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted marketing activity can take place to generate new business

  • Work closely with the Sales Managers to achieve lead generation objectives

  • Attend monthly sales meetings to update information and discuss any issues

  • Liaise effectively with all internal departments to ensure company processes are followed

  • Contribute to the team performance by sharing and implementing best practice ideas

Skills/Experience required:

  • Industry experience preferable (Telematics plus Passenger Transport and Bus and Coach is ideal)

  • Results orientated, resourceful, enthusiastic and diligent

  • Previous experience in a similar role

  • Understanding of sales and marketing activities

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM system is essential

  • Experience in LinkedIn Sales Navigator

  • A target-focused self-starter

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills

  • Ability to take personal responsibility for own performance

  • Possess sound judgement

  • Team-working ability

  • Competent user of MS Office applications
