An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Caseload Manager on the National Apprenticeship Service team. This role will provide a dedicated telephone based caseload management service to apprenticeship levy paying employers to help them realise the benefits of high quality apprenticeship, traineeship and industry placement programmes.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Offer strategic skills support - including identification of skills needs and potential solutions

  • Actively manage a portfolio of levy paying employers through the end to end customer journey.

  • Help increase the take up of high quality apprenticeships in line with performance expectations.

  • To engage with employers, at senior decision making level, to promote the benefits of apprenticeships, traineeships and industry placements within businesses.

  • Develop strong ongoing relationships with employers to promote and raise national awareness of industry placements.

  • To provide information, advice and guidance to help support employers to engage with appropriate training providers.

  • To support employers on strategies to embed apprenticeships and offer expertise on appropriate standards, gaps in the workforce, funding requirements, etc.

  • To provide helpful information on the apprenticeship levy, supporting employers to understand the impact of the levy on their business and how best to implement accordingly.

  • To provide a personalised link to employers ensuring they understand how to access and use the appropriate tools and resources.

  • To ensure CRM data requirements and records are accurate and up to date for all accounts within caseloads.

Successful applicants must be educated to Level 3 or have extensive apprenticeship experience.

You must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence in order to establish strong relationships with employers to understand their business and help them to understand how apprenticeships, industry placements and traineeships would benefit their business needs.

Applicants should be highly motivated with a particular aptitude for working towards time sensitive targets and high attention to detail with focus on accurate data recording. Time management skills are imperative to this role.

£10.25 per hour, 37.5 hour week.

Full training will be provided.
