Office Manager

Temporary - 12-month contract

Salary: £35,000

Reports: Receptionist

Full time. London based. 40 hours a week. Summary:

  • 20,000 sq ft space across 2 floors in a recently launched open plan creative studio in Old Street.

  • Ownership of the entire space from a studio and facilities management

  • 5* service across all areas of the

  • Liaising with parent company facilities team and


  • Own the day-to-day experience of the studio. Thinking about the incredible experience each person receives before they even set the foot into the

  • Ensure there is appropriate policy and procedures in place for Health and Safety and statutory Regularly inspect/audit all health & safety issues in the studio. Maintain an action schedule of required improvements and manage the process.

  • Develop and implement a process for planned maintenance including cyclical, time and condition Ensure the safe delivery of all maintenance activities.

  • Deliver, control and monitor small capital projects, minor works, relocations and alterations to meet with occupational demands of

  • Manage budgets and be accountable for monthly reporting of budget and asset

  • Manage a range of facilities services and suppliers/contractors. Manage and ensure all required contracts are in place to effectively support and manage all facilities.

  • Ensure premises exceeds required standards to pass both internal and external

  • Office events - own this across client meetings, internal socials and company (They occur weekly).

  • Support reception team and oversee all senior client meetings. Cover reception as and when

  • Oversee meeting book room Ensuring there are no issues. Mitigating difficult scenarios to ensure everyone is happy and informed.

  • Drive a sustainable workplace Pushing recycling, food wastage, reducing carbon footprint.

  • Finance - support on basic financial Company credit card, expenses, ad hoc travel booking.

  • Manage relationships with all suppliers - plants, catering, office stationary, builders


  • Strong experience in commercial office management.

  • Ability to prepare and manage tender documents and specification of

  • Experienced and knowledgeable in Health & Safety and Environmental legislation and best practice

  • Management and setting of

  • Ability to communicate a wide range of standard information, both written and in a style appropriate to the audience

  • Ability to manage and develop team to provide best in class service for all

  • Line management

  • Experience of running a fast-paced studio /

  • Calm, considerate, people

  • Ability to communicate at senior Articulate.
