Job Description


Adecco City are currently recruiting for a client of ours based just outside Canary Wharf. The successful candidate will be solely responsible for supporting CEO and Senior PA. The ideal Personal Assistant will act as a team player providing efficient and pro-active service whilst dealing with secretarial and administrative tasks and all general responsibilities that you would associate within a PA Role.


This fast-paced position will offer full autonomy. The role will be best suited to someone with a similar cultural background with an upbeat and warm personality.


Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Diary management for the CEO, be fully aware of directors' weekly appointments and movements.

  • Dictation

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, agents etc and colleagues on behalf of Director

  • Facilitate meetings, groups and forums

  • Take dictation/minutes, and 60wpm typing speed

  • Identify and provide support where necessary for in-house and external meetings/events (inc. IT equipment/requirements & presentations are set up)

  • Administrative support, including typing letters and minutes according to practice standards

  • Coordinates travel and accommodation

  • Processing holiday requests for Directors' teams

  • Provide IT & technical support (inc. support on Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc)

  • Met deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

  • Organising and managing company & customer meetings

  • Screen phone calls, enquires, requests and handle when appropriate

  • Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management and filing

  • Administrative support, including typing letters and minutes according to practice standards

  • Ad-hoc projects across the wider business


Ideal candidate and personal qualities:



  • Experience within a similar PA role

  • Proven experience working under pressure and handling several tasks with ease, prioritising when necessary in order to meet deadlines

  • Be well organised, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise

  • Good communications skills - both verbal and written

  • Establish good relationships with colleagues & external teams

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Confident & resilient

  • Able to exercise good judgement

  • Remains calm and deliberate under conditions of pressure

  • Strong team player, with collaborative working style

  • Confident dealing with people at all levels

  • Good skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
