Our client is currently recruiting for Theatres & Critical Care Manager, pay £30.55ph- £35.20ph, start ASAP, duration 3 months, hours Mon-Fri 37.5 per week, this role will be working on site, location Finsbury.


Responsibilities;



  • Responsible for providing non nursing leadership and the operational management of theatres, pre-operative assessment, admissions office, anaesthetics and critical care, ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources, and the development and maintenance of the highest standards of patient care and service delivery.

  • You will be part of the senior ICSU management team and will assist the Clinical Director, Director of Operations and Associate Director of Nursing in delivering the Trust's strategic and operational agenda.

  • You will oversee day to day management issues, liaising with departments and teams as required. The post holder will provide line management for non nursing key staff within the departments, and will lead the business planning process for theatre and critical care services and be a key enabler to delivering the surgical elective contracted activity plan.

  • Lead the development of the theatre and critical care service in line with the Trust Strategic Plan, supported by the Theatre Matron, Clinical Lead in Anaesthetics, Led Nurse in Critical Care and the Critical Care Clinical Lead.
