Job title: Trade Sales Support Assistant

Reports to: Global Trade Sales Manager


To be the first point of contact for my client, supporting sales and processing orders in an efficient and timely manner; building positive relationships with customers at all times.

Key responsibilities:

  • To proactively deal with customer enquiries regarding stock availability, delivery, price and product specification

  • To process orders in an accurate and timely manner (usually within the same working day)

  • To manage correspondence between the sales team and their clients; ensuring that all calls and emails are responded to as soon as possible

  • To support the Sales Managers with administration based tasks

  • To deal with problems and complaints where appropriate, escalating them to the Sales Manager's where necessary

  • To support the Sales Managers in meeting their sales targets

  • To liaise with the distribution team where necessary

  • To manage your own workload and support other team members where possible

  • To participate in any training as necessary

  • To undertake any other tasks relevant to the level of the post, as requested by the Sales Managers or Company Directors.

The hours will be 8:00am - 5:00pm / Monday to Friday.
The salary bracket is from £18,000 to £20,000.
This will be an office-based post and the successful candidate will need a good telephone manner, the right attitude and brand awareness.
