An opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Driver Technician who is looking to work full-time on a temporary basis with the prospect of going permanent. You will be testing different materials and mixtures (concrete, soils, etc) at various client sites all over the UK. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:00 with 1 hour lunch. The hourly pay is £10.10 per hour, overtime available too - £15.15 (Sat), £20.20 (Sun/Bank Hol).


Duties:



  • Drive to different locations all over the UK (including Wales/Scotland)

  • Sampling and testing of construction materials

  • Collection of materials for lab testing

  • Completing test sheets

  • Production of reports

  • Undertaking tasks in line with company protocol, including online training (paid by the company)

  • Loading and unloading a full van without assistance


Requirements:



  • CSCS Card

  • Driver's License


Preferred:



  • Experience in construction/testing environment
